Wire and gold paper flowers on driftwood, wall hanging, handmade by Becky shop Crawford from Spacefruit

This lovely wall hanging is made from wire, hand painted gold paper and driftwood.

Each flower is intricately made by hand from black enamelled copper wire, non tarnish copper wire and paper which I paint in many layers of gold paint to give it a wonderful sheen.

I collect the driftwood from my shop local beaches in South Devon, scrub it clean and sand it down.

I protect the wire and paper with a fine protective wax developed by the British Museum to protect artefacts.

Flowers that last forever, this would make a special gift for anybody.

This is a unique one off piece of art that hangs simply from a small nail or pin in the wall.

Dimensions are approximately 16 cm high x 25 cm wide.
