What a great leash, tote bag or hat hook for your entryway, kitchen, workshop or studio! I crafted this hook rack from a vintage solid wood fruit crate panel found at a flea market in Jewett City, Connecticut, originally from the Delta Packing Co. in Lodi, California. The graphics of the Red Velvet Cherries are still vivid against the natural aged patina of the wood. I added three bronze-finished single metal hooks to the front and rubber bumpers to protect shop your wall and a heavy-duty sawtooth hanger to the back.
I also added a light coat of citrus oil to preserve the wood and enhance the grain.
