Mint Vintage (1960s) J&G Meakin Blue Nordic/Blue Onion 13" Oval Serving shop Platter

Mint Vintage (1960s) J&G Meakin Blue Nordic/ Blue Onion oval vegetable serving platter with a scalloped edge and swirled verge.

This pattern was produced in the 1960's and has been discontinued by the manufacturer. The platter measures approximately 13" wide by 10" across and has no chips, nicks, cracks, or fleabites, no crazing and no marks, stains, scratches or other signs of use or wear.

In absolute mint condition with not even one utensil mark! It has a beautiful deep blue hand engraved pattern. The blue-and-white delft-inspired pattern is bright and vibrant with no fading.

Stamped with the J & G MEAKIN ENGLAND Classic BLUE NORDIC ink mark.

This platter would be perfect to display and make a wonderful addition to any J&G Meakin, Blue Nordic, Blue Onion, Blue Danube, Blue Willow, Cobalt Blue, Chintz, Staffordshire and English China Collection or it just might be the perfect gift!
