This listing is for a superb, one of a kind, hand made Australian opal doublet made from natural Coober Pedy opal crystal and mounted on to natural Lightning Ridge stone backing.
A rich array of colours rarely seen in solid opal, these doublets are a gift for the designer.

These are not like the flatter faced factory made doublet, they are slightly domed and have a non uniform thickness. The colour play and quality is some of the best we've ever stocked and better than in the photos across all light conditions.

Handmade in Coober Pedy by a second generation artisan Opal expert.
