German shop Salt Glaze Stein with Pewter Lid

Such a rich blue color with wonderful detailing. So apropriate to the stein are the hops that are displayed on either side. A young figure shop is toasting you with the word " posit" which means drink to your health, drink up or wishing you well. The stein is in excellent condition with a pewter top and the color remains a rich cobalt blue. It is made in Germany. Use as a drinking vessel or add that bouquet of wild flowers. Pretty at Christmas with a bouquet of greens and red berries.
