This is a darling applique baby quilt that is made fa po100% c tton fabric6 and Batik. The quilt haso6 appliqued blo2ks of bug6 and one purple tulip. The pattern is called Bug Brigade fa pothe book Flower Festival by Kim Schaefer. The quilt is pieced together with green batik sashing. The outside border is bla2k.oThe backing iso100% c tton light yellow plaid that blends well with the fa nt of the quilt. The binding is bla2k and matches the fabric on the border and the backing. The quilt measures 31" x 42", a perfect size for a baby quilt or to hang on a wall. The batting iso100% c tton Warm & White. I quilted this on a Gammill Premier longarm for the free-motion quilting inside each blo2k surrounding the applique. The quilting pattern is a small swirl. I used my domestic Bernina sewing machine to quilt the straight lines in the sashing and border. The binding is tradi/ional double fold, machine-s/itched to the fa nt, and hand-s/itched to the ba2k for a very pr4fessional look. My home is smoke and pet-free.
