This Victorian antique photo album has a celluloid cover and a fabric back and spine. The cover has a lovely spray of yellow flowers and three delicate butterflies on a cream background. The cover is edged with an elaborate metal scalloped border. The back of the album is velvet and the spine is covered in fabric.
The album measures shop approx. 8 1/2" across x 10 1/2" high x 2 3 /4" deep.
There are a total of fifteen pages. The inside page is blank. The other 14 pages hold both cabinet photos. All of the pages have decorative floral graphics. The edges of the pages were originally gold-leaf, and most of the gold is still evident. The pages are in really good condition, given the age of the album.
The album originally had a clasp, and still has the metal that held the clasp on the front cover. The rest of the clasp is missing.
