Rainbow Flower Native American Beaded Earrings *Hand Painted* *Handmade* shop

Seedbeads sewed onto felt using the native 2 needle flat stitch technique. The backing is made of faux leather, all handcrafted by me. Beadwork is an art form expressed and practiced throughout Native American Tribes. Each tribe has designs, colors, patterns and techniques that they are identified by. There are many styles of beading, but two very distinct types include the lazy stitch—often called lane stitch, and the tack or flat stitch, which was used on this piece! The center is a wood chip hand painted by myself!
