Handmade "Sleeping Hippos" wood burning on basswood, shop pyrography

This "Sleeping Hippos" wood burning is on 6"x 8" basswood.It has a sawtooth hanger on back or could be displayed on shelf or mantel.

All of my artwork in my shop is made by me. My wood burnings are done completely by hand. I do not use lasers or engravers shop. Each piece is unique and the wood grain and type of wood will create different shading and burning. Even the same image will always burn differently. All wood burnings get 2-3 coats of polycrylic for protection and to bring out the beauty of the wood and artwork.
