Unique and beautiful design consisting of alternating transparent squares, with a solid blue edging around the outer edges of the rectangular dish which has a solid black base layer. The squares and outer edge are dotted with contrasting colored dots. Each of the 32 pieces are hand cut, cleaned and arranged on the black base, then fused in my kiln overnight to a temperature of 1465° F. Following this, when cooled, the fused dish is inspected, cleaned again then put into the kiln in a mold to a temperature of 1250°F to slump into the plate shape.
4 Rubber 'bumpers' are underneath for stability and protection.
9.25" x 5.25" x 0.5" approximately.
