A Unique vintage Chinese pottery covered duck terrine, casserole, covered side bowl, perfect for the holidays, family dinner, country home or hunting lodge. This item is glazed in a rich blue and turquoise and is in beautiful condition without wear. A lovely highly detail piece of vintage ceramics from China!!

A very nice terrine shaped duck made shop in China, marked with a Qianlong honorific 4 character stamp. I estimate this piece to be from the republic period 1912-1949.

This casserole has a decorative cover in the shape of a duck. This form was traditionally used to present traditional terrines and pâtés in France.

Ideal for your patés, gratins or other cassoulet

This terrine is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips but does have some mild crazing on the glaze.

Highly detailed vintage decoration with its very realistic paint job on the feathers and face!
