Gorgeous & Oh So Sweet Antique Framed Under Glass Cross Stitch / Needlepoint Sampler - Antique Sampler, Framed Sampler, Sampler Poem shop

This is hands down the sweetest antique needlepoint/cross stitch sampler we have ever found.

This early piece was in a collection of antiques from an estate and believed to be from the early 1900s. The style and aging of the piece supports that timeframe.

This is beautifully executed, has the most wonderful subject matter, and is beautifully framed inside of a pretty wooden frame under glass. The frame did require some minor restoration work as one corner was coming apart. It was carefully repaired with four tiny finish nails at each corner to ensure that it is sturdy, but without affecting it's beauty.

The stitching on the piece is wonderful with that beautiful detailed border with flowers at each corner. The top scene shows a country home shaded by shop trees behind a garden well and the poem could not be sweeter:
