Handmade shop Sterling Silver Tiger Iron Belt Buckle

This belt buckle was made by Hugo shop and Alice Terner, master silversmiths from New York state. They showed their pieces at New York area art fairs during the 1980's. They selected the finest natural stones and applied high quality craftsmanship to all their pieces. The tiger iron in this buckle resembles a mountainous landscape with dark clouds. .

The silver frame has a dimensional twisted rope design that is so well executed that it appears continuous around the bezel mounted stone. The buckle measures 1-3/4" and is in very good vintage condition with minor surface scratches. Suitable for a 1" or narrower belt.
