This is a very cool Missouri Press Association Ribbon that was just found in an old estate. The ribbon was manufactured by "Haskell Badge Manufacturers - #11 N 8th Street St. Louis, Mo., extols in gold lettering the "28th Annual Meeting of the Missouri Press Association in 1894. The meeting took place in Lebanon, Missouri and is for the “Bolivar Herald”. It has a very cool "magnet" and gilt feather as the pin holder. The ribbon is in good condition as you can see in the photos. The ribbon has a slight ripple towards the bottom from not being stored shop flat, but should flatten out with time. The silk itself seems to be in very good condition for its age. The ribbon measures 2" by 8 1/4" long.
