Antique INDIAN Hand Carved shop Wood Stamp Textile Printing fabric block stamp c. early 1900's Home Decor Ethnographic Art Decor

This beautiful hand carved wooden block stamp was made in India in the early 1900s. The stamp would have been used to decorate Saris and other shop textiles. It is an extremely good example and intricately carved, and in wonderful condition with an exquisite patina to the wood surface. Would looks beautiful and any bookshelf or table. Well made with a handle on the back, shows signs of wear consistent with its age.
