Beautifully timeworn antique French blue velvet photo frame, rose shop cartouche.

This is a timeworn antique French photo frame.

Measuring approx 8" x 6 1/2" (20cm x 16cm) the window area is 5 1/4" x 3 1/2" (13.5cm x 9cm). Sadly the velvet nappe has been mostly worn away over time but happily the fabulously delicate climbing rose decor is complete and has a gorgeous honest, aged patina.

Wall mounted or free-standing, the picture is easily replaced by a flap on the reverse. shop
